Account & Data Deletion Policy

This policy explains how to delete your LoanHisab account and associated personal data. It applies to the LoanHisab web app, mobile app and website, all operated by Kedaya Tech LLP.

Summary: You can request deletion at any time. After we verify your request, we delete your account and personal data within 30 days, retaining only the minimum required by law (such as tax invoices).

How to request deletion

You can request account and data deletion in any of these ways:

On the web: visit loanhisab.com/delete-account, enter your registered email, and confirm with the verification code we send you.
In the mobile app: go to More → Delete Account, then verify with the code sent to your registered email.
In the web app: Settings → Organization → Delete account (account owners), then confirm.
By email: email support@loanhisab.com from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account" and your agency name; we will verify ownership before processing.

What gets deleted

Once verified, we delete:

Your account profile and login credentials;
Your agency workspace and its users (for owner-initiated deletion);
Leads, applications, documents, commissions, follow-ups and settings; and
KYC and other documents you uploaded to managed storage.

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where the law requires or permits it:

Billing and tax records, as required under Indian law;
Records needed to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or prevent fraud and abuse; and
Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you.

Retained data is access-restricted and deleted once the applicable retention period ends.

Timelines

We acknowledge deletion requests within 3 business days;
We complete deletion within 30 days of verifying the request; and
Copies in encrypted backups are purged on our standard backup-rotation cycle (up to 35 days).

Important

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Before deleting, please export any data you need and cancel any active subscription (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy). If your account was created by your agency's admin, deletion may need to be initiated or approved by the account owner.
